The 61 Miles 2024 Hike-A-Thon is a day to partner with us to raise funds for Sixty One Acres.

As we hike in one of our beautiful parks in Central Florida, we will support 61A’s efforts to bring Healing, Hope, and Wholeness through Christ’s love to all people!

Join us at Colt Creek State Park on Saturday, October 26, at 8 AM as we hike 5 miles through their beautiful trails of oak hammocks and scrub lands! Bring a friend, spouse, or even your tribe to register alongside you and hit the trail.

Your registration will include a 61 Miles Hike-A-Thon shirt, a swag bag, and a snack area at end of the trail. You are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, hiking shoes, and bring a light backpack with water, snacks, sunscreen, and any other personal items you may need while hiking. As you hike, “Leave No Trace” and pack out all your litter.

Meet us at 8am at the Monarch Pavilion at Middle Lake of Colt Creek State Park to start your personal 5 miles for our 61M hike-a-thon.

Don’t live in Central Florida? No Problem! We welcome you to hike virtually at one of your favorite parks in your area. Sign up to join us and we will hike together in spirit.

You can make an impact for 61 Acres by encouraging and inviting your friends, family, and neighbors to sponsor your hike by clicking on the Donate Button at https://givebutter.com/blmy9X .

*Colt Creek State Park requires a $4 per carload entrance fee.

Picture these women…

These are 4 beautiful examples of the precious women we get to meet at every single retreat! These stories are plentiful and it never gets old to walk with people on their individual journeys! Do you want to be a catalyst to these types of stories?

We need your help!

The 61 Miles 2024 Hike-A-Thon is a day to partner with us to raise funds for Sixty One Acres.  As we hike, we will support 61A’s efforts to bring Healing, Hope, and Wholeness through Christ’s love to all people.

Your support will help 61 Acres in our expansion and growth. We have a 3-step longterm fundraising goal and the money you donate will help fund STEP 1 of our fundraising efforts.

Step 1: Fund an employee for day-to-day operations. This will free up the leaders to develop materials and curriculum, strengthen the leadership, and expand our retreats.

Step 2: Fund a meeting space or “headquarters” here in Lakeland where we can have office space and hold 1-day events.

Step 3: Purchase a larger property with retreat center.
